about

This album was recorded at home in San Francisco between November '11 - January '12. All songs were performed entirely by me on Rickenbacker and Gretsch and Yamaha guitars and a simple M-Audio MIDI controller. Many of the tracks on this album are old - the oldest, "Black House," was written on a beach in San Diego in '02. I've moved around a lot since then, and a lot has happened, so as a result the album is about disorientation, restlessness, and trying to find a home in the world.

PRESS:

"I’ll be very honest, this is an album that has taken me a few listens to really appreciate. That certainly isn’t meant as an insult, more a complement. It’s been a slow burn on my list to date and now it’s really taken hold and has become a go-to album for my workday. Moreover, it has opened me up a little more to the indie/ambient fusion and the journey of sonic education it can provide." - Buzzpost
